Sure Grip offers specific hand control solutions for golf carts and utility vehicles(01/09) We have had such success with Sure Grip hand controls in everyday vehicles across North American and beyond over the past 22 years. Providing driving equipment to increase the independence in the everyday lives of people has been the passion of this company since the beginning. Keith Howell, the president of Howell Ventures and the creator of the Sure Grip hand controls has been pushing boundaries all his life. An avid wheeler himself Keith has modified a wide variety of off road and go anywhere vehicles so that he could enjoy the beautiful New Brunswick country he proudly calls home. Being a C6/C7 quadriplegic from an early age, not being able to explore the great outdoors was never an option. The advantages of Push/Rock style hand controls; being able to keep both hands on the wheel, excellent pedal feel, and ability to gas and brake at the same time, make them the ideal hand control for off road and leisure driving. Whether your hanging on while bouncing through trails or drinking a beverage while cruising in your golf car Sure Grip hand controls are the solution that makes it possible. The recreational vehicle market is made up mostly of Golf Cars and Side by Side all terrain vehicles. This type of equipment is widely being used for sport, leisure, work and transportation all over North America. Our goal in creating a Recreational Vehicle Division of hand controls was to simply create more freedom for people by making a wider variety of vehicles easier to operate for people with various physical disabilities. By customizing the equipment to the assortment of vehicles on the market we can control the cost to the end user and make installation a lot easier. Not to mention a smoother driving feel and a more ‘factory’ look. We are not the only ones who view Push/Rock as the best operation style of mechanical hand control available and we intend to prove this both on and off the road. It is nice to see so much excitement throughout the industry about getting into this new arena of assistive driving products. Specific solutions for Golf Carts, Off Road and Utility 4X4s have been long overdue. The focus now is to spread awareness to end users that this is available, easy and affordable. Wesley Deane
